Discounting of Security deposit
Security Deposits paid to the Developers is discounted to Present value & differential amount is recognized on Straight line basis as Rent Expense during the lease term. Further Interest Income is recognized on Present value using effective Interest rate method
Security deposits is not discounted under Previous IGAAP
Entertainment Tax Exemption
Entertainment tax exemption need to be disclosed under Other Income
Entertainment tax exemption is disclosed under “Income from sale of film tickets”
Proposed Dividend Proposed dividends to be recognized in the year when they are approved by shareholders in the Annual General Meeting
Proposed dividends is recognized as & when the Board recommends Dividend
Goodwill Amortization Goodwill needs to be tested for impairment instead of amortization
Goodwill is amortized over a period of 10 years
Employee Benefits (a) Actuarial Gains/(losses) on Defined Benefit plans are recognized in Other Comprehensive Income
(b) Employee stock option cost recognized on Fair value
