• The practical sessions include working with multispectral STED

and light sheet (DLS - Digital Light Sheet) confocal systems

and FRAP microscopy for widefield applications.

• Registration fee: 350 Euros includes course material, lunches,

GENERAL INFORMATION

Leica Microscopy course on Advanced Widefield & Confocal

Microscopy and STED Super-resolution.

Objectives:This course aims to provide extended technical skills in advanced

confocal imaging methods using state-of-the-art Leica equipment

including STED Super-resolution, light sheet microscopy (DLS), high

content analysis and widefield FRAP.

It combines introductory lectures and practical hands-on sessions.

During the practical sessions, students will be able to observe their

own samples.

Audience target:This course is aimed at all early career researchers, Post-Docs and

PhD students that wish to expand their theoretical and practical

knowledge in confocal microscopy and acquire skills in STED, high-

speed live cell imaging, DLS, molecular dynamics and data analysis.
