I believe 2013 has been the most dramatic year since 9/11. I was born on the day of 9/11 and ever since then my world has been full of peace and tranquility. On New years day I was so excited for a fresh start, a new beginning. Most months went by fast, until April 15. I had just gotten home from school; I got off the bus and sprinted inside the house. I could hear my stomach making alien sounds, so I took that as a sign that I was hungry. I strolled over to the fridge but before I could get there, I saw my own mom sobbing in tears. I didn’t know what to say, tears fell over her cheeks like a fretful stream over boulders. “ Mom”………………………………… she didn’t answer. The TV was on and they were talking about some bomb that blew up at the Boston marathon. I knew why she didn’t answer; she started mumbling the word Sophia. I knew exactly what happened. My cousin Sophia is a runner .I later figured out that Sophia was injured by the bomb. A ton I of thoughts streamed through my head like “how could someone do that?” I learned a very important lesson that day always believe a human been can do anything, even if it hurts people physically and emotionally. Also, some people are willing to throw everything down the drain, even if it only starts a little flame.
