Grace’s Story

To hear the call for Archangel Michael tocome forth and protect is not unusual whenI travel with my sister Julia. I’ve come to ex-pect it. She calls on him for protection duringtrips, to clear traffic when cars are bumper tobumper, to help us find the correct addresswhen we get lost. She even asks him to help usfind a quick parking space when it seems im-possible. Her calls are prayers given out loudwith great fervor.

Personally, I feel the safest when I travelwith Julia because I know that ArchangelMichael is on our side. But I had never felt hispresence so real until the night of September22, 2002, at approximately 11 p.m.

That night my sisters and I were on ourway home from shopping and a late dinner.Megan, my youngest sister, was driving hervan. Julia (thank God she was with us thatnight) was in the passenger’s seat. And I wasin the back. All of a sudden a speeding car

raced on ahead of us and made a sharp stopdirectly in front of our van as we approacheda stop sign on a dark and deserted road.

The next thing we knew, some men hadjumped out of that car and were pointingtheir guns at us. All I remember is a youngman pointing his gun straight toward me—and coming up close to where I was sitting!I could see his mouth moving, but I couldn’thear a word. My sisters say that he wasyelling, “Get out of the van!”

Inside the van, I had fallen to my kneesbehind the passenger’s seat and I could hearmyself screaming. In between screams, I couldalso hear Megan repeating over and over,“Oh, my God, he has a gun!”

In all this confusion, I heard Julia begin topray and call on Archangel Michael to help us.The instant I heard her praying, I felt a senseof tranquility within me. I was still terrified,but her prayers gave me a sense of hope.“Archangel Michael, help us! help us! help us!Archangel Michael, help us! help us! help us!”

As Julia called to the angel, Megan un-froze from her state of shock. She gripped the

steering wheel and stepped on the gas pedal.Julia continued to pray. But as we headedaway from the scene, we knew we were notquite out of danger. We knew that the menmight follow us into our neighborhood. Butthey didn’t. And they didn’t shoot at us whilethey had the chance. They didn’t even shootas we sped away. We were safe!

I truly believe that Archangel Michaelhad spread his wings around us and protectedus from the evil intentions of those men.Archangel Michael made his presence known,and I thank him.

Megan courage to speed awaywhen she felt frozen in time.

Thank you for answeringJulia’s call for help.

And thank you for spreadingyour wings around us andkeeping us safe.

Your Personal Protector

Who is this majestic being called ArchangelMichael? Have others experienced his

presence? Will he also help me and those I careabout? How can we bring him into our lives?

Out of God’s own flaming Spirit, he fashionedthe angels—extensions of his Presence that mani-fest in a form we can recognize. God created angelsbefore he created us so that we would have care-givers. So tender and so present is the Creator’slove that he makes it known to us in a most per-sonal way through his angels.

Archangels are magnificent cosmic beings.They’re the highest rank in the orders of angels,and Archangel Michael is the one to whom all theother archangels and their legions defer. Knownas the Prince of the Archangels, he has millions oflegions of angels at his command.

He often appears dressed in brilliant blue ar-mour and surrounded by an intense blue and whitelight that looks like lightning. The electric bluethat flashes in his aura denotes the presence of

power, strength and determination. It also relatesto the divine plan, or blueprint.

Each one of us is created with a cosmic pur-pose, and it’s etched within our soul as an innerblueprint. Archangel Michael reinforces thisunique plan, and he liberates us to perform ourmission. With his mastery of the quality of power,this mighty archangel also teaches the right use ofpower—in government, the economy, leadershipand all aspects of organization, administrationand law.

But above all else, he is known as the angel ofprotection. All of us need to be protected, physi-cally as well as spiritually. Archangel Michael isdedicated to keeping us safe, defending our soulsand caring for us.

He has saved me and my family from seriousharm dozens of times that I know of and I’m cer-tain many times more. I can remember once whenI felt the presence of Archangel Michael so stronglythat I could not move my hand or my arm againstthe power of that stupendous angel who was pro-tecting me from danger.

Sometimes people think that specific angelscan only do certain things. But angels have a great

cosmic consciousness. Though they have special-ties, they can extend themselves beyond just onearea of influence. So even though Michael mani-fests power and protection, he also brings healingfor our bodies and souls. Indeed, in the earlyChurch he was revered as the heavenly physician.

As a healing angel he frees us from forces,within and without, that intensify our ailments,our burdens and our karma. He assists us in over-coming the thought processes that conceive andamplify disease, disintegration and death. If youhave a problem, perhaps some kind of detrimentalhabit, he can help to heal and deliver you from thatburden. His healing proceeds from the highestscience of the will of God.

The Gift of Faith

Every archangel has a divine complement, orarcheia. An archangel and archeia may merge

into one or they may act separately as individualbeings. Archangel Michael’s divine complement isArcheia Faith and she ensouls the quality of faith.

True faith encompasses more than the usualdefinition of the word. It is also the ability to main-tain the concept of your divine plan, to establishyour calling, and to be strengthened by the powerof God.

Each of us needs faith insomething, and we can havethat faith in God and his an-gels. For people may fail us,but God and the angels willnot. God always keeps hispromises to us, even if wedon’t immediately see theanswers to our prayers. Theywill come. The answers will surely come, though itmay not necessarily be in the way that we expect.

Doubt and FearTransformed

Many people doubt. They doubt themselves,they doubt God. Often they have a great

deal of fear. Archeia Faith and her legions as wellas Archangel Michael help us to overcome doubt

and fear by the transmutative action of faith.Michael has said that if we give him our

doubts and fears, he will give back to us his fullmomentum of faith. You can say, “Here, Arch-angel Michael, take all this doubt and fear. I’velived with it long enough. I’ll take your faith; youtake my doubt and fear.” Now, that’s a good deal!

Michael is able to serve in a cosmic mannerbecause of his own immovable, enduring faith. Hehas faith that he will receive all that he requires tofulfill his service to life. In fact, one of his roles isDefender of the Faith, and this includes defendingthe faith in us as well as our faith in one another.

Miracles Are for Believers

This is a story of someone who has great faithin the power of Archangel Michael.

On August 31, 1985, Kendra got up at 5 a.m.Something came over her and she felt in her heartthe intense determination that this was the daythat the Night Stalker had to be caught. She feltprompted by Archangel Michael that now was thetime. Kendra started offering prayers to Archangel

Michael and she repeated them by the hour, dedi-cating them to one purpose—catching that serialkiller.

The very same day Richard Ramirez, the sus-pect, was caught in an east Los Angeles neighbor-hood when residents saw him trying to steal acar. They captured and held him until the policearrived. Police determined that Ramirez’ finger-prints matched those found in a stolen car knownto have been used by the Night Stalker.

For more than a year, Ramirez had been on arampage of raping and murdering. But he hadnever been caught, even with all the newspaper ar-ticles, even with all the prayers. What Kendra didthat made the difference was this: She concentratedher prayers on Archangel Michael, determined inher heart that this was the day, and would notleave her prayer vigil until the goal she intendedwas fulfilled.

You may not believe that this was accomplishedthrough the action of one individual who decidedto keep a vigil. They say miracles are for believers.But you yourself will become a believer whenyou start realizing the many miracles Archangel

Michael will perform, for you and also throughyou in your prayers for others.

Sometimes it only takes one person with deter-mination and faith to turn the tide of somethingthat is very dark, that is malignant and that haspersisted without resolution. When you work withArchangel Michael, that person could be you!
