Tradition..
Fly fishing,a
Joining
Me to the past
Mom always said, “I think your dad would have liked all boys.”
My sisters and I worked on the cars, built brick walls and did
Everything a boy would be expected to do.
In my family,There were three traditions we
Grew up with…….Picking huckleberries,
Eating pasties,And
FLY FISHING!
Dad started us out young…
.Dad always said,
“Think like a fish.”
“Sneak up on the hole.”
As I grewSo did myLove for
Fly fishing.
Many go fishing all their lives without
knowing it was not fish they were
after.
