8-BIT CMOS SINGLE CHIP MICROCONTROLLER

INTRODUCTION :

HEI is proud to extend its Microcontroller product line offerings by introducing the GMS81C7016/81C7008/87C7016 8-bit CMOS Microcontrollers(MCUs). These 8-bit Microcontrollers each have 16K/8Kbyte Mask ROM/ 16KbyteEPROM on chip and available in 64SDIP/QFP/52SDIP/QFP . Also the GMS87C7016 is supported by a full-featured macro assembler, an in-circuit emulator CHOICE-Dr.

WHAT IS IT?

These 8-bit Microcontrollers are used of CMOS process and can be adopted for LCD application such as Rice Cooker,medical equipment,DVM, etc.The following chart outlines the rich features offered by HEI’s 8-bit MCUs :

WHAT IS THE COMPETITION?

The attached comparison table(TABLE 2) highlights 8-bit MCUs that are similar to GMS81C7016/81C7008/87C7016. Since many MCUs are designed for specific application, you may run into MCUs that are functionally close but not listed. GMS81C7016/81C7008/87C7016 are functionally similar to HITACHI HD404328. But GMS81C7016/81C7008/87C7016 have more strong point in versatile peripheral function comparing with HITACHI HD404328.

WHO USES IT?

HEI’s 8-bit Microcontrollers(GMS81C7016/81C7008/87C7016) can be used in LCD application such as Rice Cooker, Medical Equipment, DVM, Caller ID,Electric balance, Measure Equipment etc.Actually HEI’s 8-Bit Microcontrollers are suitable for segment LCD applicationnot for Dot LCD application. Currently, LCD application is on the increase in consumer market.

FPO(Factory Programmed OTP) :

GMS87C7016 can be delivered as FPO Product.

It is convenient for user to reduce writing time in Mass-Production.
