In the Materials Handling industry safety is of paramount importance and Hyster strives to offer you the best solutions and technology available to meet your needs. In cooperation with Orlaco, our esteemed supplier for camera solutions for many years, we have developed kits offering the Orlaco RadarEye warning system for Reach Stackers and Counterbalance Trucks.

RadarEye is an active signalling system which pairs radar sensing with an Orlaco camera system, designed to detect both stationary and moving objects in zones potentially obscured from the operator’s view.

RadarEye actively warns the operator of the truck with audible tones that increase in rate as objects draw closer. When an object is detected this can also be seen on the monitor and the operator can respond. The units are shock, water and weather proof.

MONITORRadarEye is capable of visualising the radar-zones on the display. As soon as a person enters the zone it will activate coloured dots (default setting) or a transparent visualisation to make the operator of the truck aware of the potential danger.
