Hyndland Clean Up

Hyndland CommunityLitter PickSat 8th DecThe LaneIts a place frequented by a lot of our school pupils, its where they hang around

But it turned into a massive rubbish bin

Around Our CommunityA lot of our friends, family & neighbours live in surrounding area.

They are being affected by the amount of rubbish that gets thrown on their streets.

Time For ChangeThe Eco-Committee led a Litter Pick Up last Dec 8th.

It was well attended by pupils, staff, parents and councillors who braved the bitter cold winters morning (and on a Saturday!)

Heres what we had to pick up.

RubbishThere are several bins in and around our community and school.

There should be no excuse to drop litter.

If the bin is full, walk to the next one, its probably only 5 meters away.

OR keep your rubbish until you do find a bin.

Be ProudThis is your community.

You should take pride in it.

Do your best to keep it clean.

Dont drop litter, put it in the bin!Final thoughtIf the litter problems do not continue to improve in and around our school, there will be no option other than to bring in the litter enforcers

If you drop litter, they can fine you 50 and/or give you community service

Sojust bin itwe are not going to clean up after youJoin the Eco groupImprove our school and local environment by;
