Design ActivitiesPresented with a

problem statement of creating a more

sustainable toothbrush for Oral

B customers

Evaluated toothbrush and its

qualities (aesthetics, power, design)

Dissected toothbrush to determine parts

and evaluate how the brush worked

Created a customer needs assessment to reach goal of creating

a more sustainable toothbrush that

pleased the buyers

Created an AHP chart based on the

customer assessment

Concept generation for Brush Head Design, Energy

Mechanisms, Power Generation, Body

Design

Created a morph chart with ideas

that were generated

Generated Pugh charts based on

morph charts

Determined a final concept based on the rankings from the Pugh Charts

PROBLEM STATEMENT

• create a more sustainable toothbrush that is pleasing to the customers– Minimize the size of toothbrush, less material

would be used – Different shape for aesthetics and a better clean– Changing the type of batteries we can extend the

battery life of the toothbrush
