Eric Owen Moss

(b. 1943 in Los Angeles (LA), California) practices

architecture with his eponymously named LA-based

25-person firm founded in 1973.

Received a Bachelor of Arts from

the University of California, Los Angeles in 1965,

his Masters of Architecture from

the University of California, Berkeley, College of

Environmental Design in 1968

a second Masters of Architecture

from Harvard University Graduate

School of Design in 1972.

Taught at Southern California Institute of

Architecture (SCI-Arc) in 1974 and was

appointed director in 2002.

He has held chairs at Yale and Harvard

universities, and appointments at the University

of Applied Arts in Vienna and the Royal Danish

Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen.

Grand Canyon in Arizona

The Grand Canyon Skywalk glass floor can hold the weight of up to 120 people, and is

designed to handle winds up to 100 miles per hour.

U-shaped Grand Canyon West Skywalk in Arizona projects out from the canyon rim, 4,000 feet

above the Colorado River.

4 States lines of USA intersect in one point “ Four Corners ”

The confluence of US states of Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, and Arizona is the most

famous secondary quadripoint. Known as "The Four Corners" it is the only point in the

United States of America where four states meet and that too at right angles.
