DivingFamous for its white sand beaches, coral reefs and crystal clear waters Maldives is a popular destination for divers from all over the world.Visitors can take diving lessons or explore on their own.

Safari BoatsMaldives have plenty of Liveaboards or Dive Safari boats. These boats contain luxury facilities such as king size suits, Jacuzzis, and Satellite TV.They also have their own chefs and diving instructors and often have secondary boats to take visitors to diving sites.

Whale SubmarineWhale Submarine gives visitors the chance to explore the underwater world at 120 feet below. During the 45 minute submarine ride the passengers can observe numerous types of fish and coral reefs and sometimes shipwrecks too. A briefing at each site will be given by the crew members.

Mulee Aage

The wooden palace where Maldivian hero Sultan Mohamed Thankurufaan grew up. He is celebrated for his actions in defending people from Portuguese conquers.

Used as the President’s office today, the palace was originally built by Sultan Mohamed Shamsuddeen III, in year 1906.

Hukuru Miskiiy (Old Friday Mosque)

It is the oldest mosque on the island and has coral stone walls with carvings of patterns and scripts. It also has tombs created in memory of heroes and Sultans

Grand Friday Mosque

Built in white marble with the help from the Gulf States in 1984, this is the biggest mosque in the country. It is named after the Maldivian hero Sultan Muhammad Thakurufaanu Al Auzam.

Manta PointManta Point also knows as Emas Thila is a 1 Km long area and is the assembly point for Mantas through the north-east monsoon time of year. Divers can encounter a wave of massive mantas gathering to Manta Point to feed on plankton.
