For more information (276)781-7400 For information about these and all other programs at Hungry Mother State Park, please call 276-781-7400 October 23 - Fall Fear Bike Race Sponsored by the Friends of Hungry Mother The race has categories for beginners, sport, and expert/pro riders around the trails of the park. For more information call (276) 781-7400 Sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce of Smyth Co. The event is designed to give back to the community. The Carp Tournament begins at 8:00 AM. All fish must be weighted in by 12:00 PM. $1 fee for the tournament. Hot dogs and drinks available. Prizes will be given to the largest fish is each age category. The Chamber provides two different bike routes through Smyth Co. One route is designed for families and the other designed for more adventurous riders. There is a charge to participate.
