Please keep your pet quietuntil suture removal to protect the incision from coming apart. Short controlled leash walks are ok,but no running, jumping, or playing. Excessive activity can disrupt the healing. The bandage needsto be kept clean and dry, please use the plastic bag sent home when walking outside. If the bandagebecomes soiled, we need to change it as soon as possible. The bandage needs to be changed in5-7 days and then 7-10 days later the staples will need to be removed. Please schedule thebandage change and staple removal appointments today.

Please keep the e-collar on your pet at all times to discourage chewing at the bandage until sutureremoval. An antibiotic and a pain medication have been sent home, please follow the labeledinstructions.
