Right to Education violation involving child soldiers.• Due to the fact children are being used as soldiers

they are being denied the right to an education.• By children being denied an education they feel that

they have to be a soldier in order to survive.• Also, they will become illiterate. • “Children who are poor, displaced from their families,

have limited access to education, or live in a combat zone are more likely to be forcibly recruited.” • Some are as young as 8 years old.

Uses of child soldiers • Fighters, cooks, suicide bombers, human shields,

messengers, spies, or for sexual purposes• Females make up a estimate 10 to 30 percent of child

soldiers, used for sexual violence.• In the last 13 years, the use of child soldiers has

spread to almost every region of the world and to every armed conflict.

Solutions to prevent child soldiers

1.  To show other countries how child soldiers are being used in Africa by walking them through scenarios.

2. by doing this countries can start relief efforts to start a security efforts to prevent attacks on villages.

Solutions for giving free education

1. Build schools in villages. 2. Send books to Africa. 3. Africa needs teachers to show

kids how to read and write.4. Send teachers to Central

African Republic.
