Abundant oyster reefs once lined the Hudson River from Manhattan up North to Croton Point. New York was one of the largest producers of oysters during the 1900’s.

Located adjacent to Chelsea Market, 14th Street Park is a favorite grassy oasis amongst the bustling lunch time crowd. Only one of the two locations within Hudson River Park not located on the water, the foot traffi c surrounding 14th St. Park makes it an ideal location for hosting product samplings, promotional events and is a perfect “Welcome Center” for guests attending events on Pier 54.

In 1837 the City of New York took away a full city block of land to create more space to accommodate the rising size of luxury liners docking in the Hudson. Today this would have been known as 13th Ave.

A waterfront retreat in the heart of midtown, Pier 84 is the perfect location to host large scale run/walks, product launches, media events and corporate galas. Sandwiched between the Intrepid and the Circle Line, this area is one of the highest traffi cked sections of Hudson River Park. Pier 84 boasts an expansive open area on the western end of the pier, a large lawn, interactive fountain, restaurant concession and the ability to dock large vessels on either side of the pier.

This area of NYC know as “Clinton” was named to honor DeWitt Clinton who had created a business boom of Hudson commerce when he opened the Erie Canal and also served as New York’s 6th Governor from 1817-1822.
