Vor allen Instandsetzungs- undWartungsarbeiten sind dieEnergiezuführungen abzuschalten!Außerdem sind Maßnahmen erforderlich,um ein unbeabsichtigtesWiedereinschalten zu verhindern, z.B.am Hauptschalter ein entsprechendesWarnschild anbringen!

Die pneumatischen Komponenten desTS 4plus-Systems wurden für einenBetriebsdruck von 4 - 6 bar ausgelegt.Es liegt in der Verantwortung desAnwenders, die Zufuhr gefilterter,gereinigter Druckluft so zu installierenund zu steuern, dass der Betriebsdruckim vom Hersteller angegebenen Bereichliegt.

Vor allen Instandsetzungs- undWartungsarbeiten sind alle Leitungen zuentlüften, um unbeabsichtigte oderzufällige Bewegungen vonKomponenten zu vermeiden, die zuVerletzungen führen können.

Die bestimmungsgemäße Verwendungder HQ 4, ist der Transport von WT 4.Eine sachgemäße Anwendungbeinhaltet den Transport von Teilen undBaugruppen mit Hilfe des Werkstück-trägers und der Haltevorrichtung.

Der Arbeitsbereich der Handarbeits-plätze sollte nicht in der Nähe der HQ 4liegen. Ansonsten sind spezielleSchutzeinrichtungen vorzusehen.

Die Nutzlast, die auf denWerkstückträger wirkendenAuflagekräfte oder die zulässigeStreckenbelastung dürfen auf keinen Fallüberschritten werden.

Das Überschreiten der angegebenenSpezifikationen führt zu vorzeitigerAbnutzung oder zu einem Ausfall desSystems und kann Schäden am Motor,dem Getriebe, der Rollenkette, denDichtungen oder anderen Komponentenverursachen.

Il faut procéder à l’initiation technique dupersonnel en matière de sécurité(3 842 527 147).

Avant d'effectuer des réparations ou destravaux de maintenance, couperl'alimentation en énergie ! D'autre part,prendre toutes les mesures nécessairespour éviter une remise en marcheaccidentelle, en apposant par exempleprès de l'interrupteur principal unpanneau d'avertissement !

Les composants pneumatiques dusystème TS 4plus ont été conçus pourune pression de service de 4 - 6 bar.L’utilisateur est responsable de réaliserl’installation et la commande del’alimentation en air comprimé filtré etpurifié de telle sorte que la pression deservice soit comprise dans la plageindiquée par le fabricant.

Avant d’effectuer des réparations ou destravaux de maintenance, purger toutesles conduites afin d’éviter desdéplacements inopinés ou accidentelsdes composants qui pourraientprovoquer des blessures.

L’utilisation conforme de la HQ 4 est letransport de la WT 4. Une applicationconforme comporte le transport despièces et sous-ensembles à l’aide de lapalette porte-pièces et du dispositifporteur.

L’espace opérationnel des postes detravail manuel ne doit pas être àproximité de l’HQ 4. Sinon, desdispositifs de protection spéciauxdoivent être prévus.

La charge utile, les forces d’appuiagissant sur la palette porte-pièces ou lacharge de section admissible ne doiventen aucun cas être dépassées.

Le dépassement des spécificationsindiquées entraîne une usureprématurée ou une défaillance dusystème et peut provoquer desdommages sur le moteur, lesengrenages, la chaîne à rouleaux, lesjoints ou sur d’autres composants.

Conserver impérativement cesinstructions d’utilisation !

The power must always be switched offbefore maintenance and repair work!Take precautions to prevent inadvertentrestoration of power, e.g. by hanging asuitable warning sign at the mainsswitch!

The pneumatisc components of theTS 4plus system were designed for anoperating pressure between 4 - 6 bar. Itis the user’s responsibility to establishand control a filtered and cleanedcompressed air supply to keep theoperating pressure at the manufacturer’srecommended level.

All connections should be bled prior toany maintenance or repair work. Thishelps to avoid inadvertent or accidentalmovements of components which couldcause injury.

The intended use of the HQ 4 is thetransport of WT 4. Appropriate useincludes the transport of parts andcomponents with the aid of theworkpiece pallet and the holder.

Manual workplaces should not belocated near the HQ 4. Should this bethe case, special safety devices shouldbe used.

The load capacity, the loading weightaffecting the workpiecepallet or thepermissible section loading may not beexceeded.

Exceeding the given specifications maylead to premature wear or a systemfailure. It may also cause damage to themotor, gears, roller chains, seals, orother components.

Die Förderstrecke muss eben sein, unddie zum EQ 4 gehörenden RS 4/S oderSE 4/S müssen in einem Winkel vongenau 90° zu den HQ 4 stehen.

Mangelhafte Ausrichtung kann zuschlechtem Werkstückträgertransportund zu vorzeitigem Verschleiß führen.

2 Mount the switch element3 842 532 554 (1x) together withthe M8x20 T-bolt and M8 (SW13)flange nut onto the ST 4/R sectionprofile.

Connection of the motorThe motor must be connected inaccordance with the voltage and currentinformation listed on the name plate(Fig. 27) according to Fig. 28 (Y) or Fig.29 (∆).

The motor is equipped with a bi-metalswitch (potential-free thermal contact) tomonitor the temperature. The motor mustbe connected in such a manner that it iscurrentless when the switch is actuated.

Please observe the connection plans inFig. 28 and Fig. 29, as well as theconnection plan in the terminal box!

To avoid damage to the connectingcable, the cover of the terminal box onthe motor must be turned so the cableentry (A) is coming from the direction ofthe fan housing (B) (Fig. 30).

1 On both sides, loosen the threadedpin of the M8x10 chain tensionerwith the SW4 hex socket keyenough so that the chain tensioner’sspring-loaded mechanismautomatically tensions the chain.

2 Re-fasten threaded pins.

Check the chain after every 200 hours ofoperation and tension the chain ifnecessary.

Should the tension be used up, then thechain must be exchanged.For the procedure, see the Repairchapter: Exchanging the flat top chain.

Instructions :

Surface temperaturesUnder certain load and operatingconditions, the surfaces of the motorsand gears can reach a maximum of70°C.In such cases, currently valid accidentprevention regulations (in Germany:UVV) must be met by correspondingconstructive measures (safety devices)or safety warning signs.

Flat-top chain (3, Fig. 32)The flat-top chain used in the BS 4/C-HQ 4 must be oiled every 1,000operating hours with approx. 2 to 3 g oil/m chain (e.g. Structovis GHD fromKlüber) in the area of back deflection.

Before lubricating, remove anyunnecessary grease, dirt, or othercontaminants from the surface and alsocheck for wear and stretching.

Chaîne à plateformes (3, Fig. 32)Il faut lubrifier la chaîne à plateformesutilisée dans BS 4/C-HQ 4 parintervalles de 1.000 heures defonctionnement avec 2 à 3 g d’huile/mde chaîne (par ex. Structovis GHD dufabr. Klüber) dans le domaine de flexionen arrière.

Avant la lubrification, la graissesuperflue, la crasse ou autres impuretésdoivent être nettoyées de la chaîne àplateformes et en même temps, l’usureet l’allongement dovient être contrôlés.

1 On both sides of the BS 4/C -HQ 4, remove 2 M8x1 threadedpins with a SW4 hex socket key.

2 Take the BS 4/C -HQ 4 out of thesupports from above and lay it on anassembly table.

3 Remove upper covers from the driveheads.

4 If necessary, remove lower coversfrom the drive heads.

5 Remove the cover plates of thechain tensioner by loosening twoSW3 hex socket flange head screweach.

6 On both sides, loosen the threadedpin of the M8x10 chain tensionerusing a SW4 hex socket key.

1 Dévisser sur chacun des côtés de laBS 4/C - HQ 4 les 2 vis sans têteM8x1 avec la clé pour vis à six panscreux SW4.

Bei unbeabsichtigtem Lösen derFixierung, würde das Gleitstück desKettenspanners durch die gespannteFeder, nach hinten katapultiert!

8 Kette öffnen, dazu weiße Flachplatteund Kettenschloß entfernen.

9 Kette von Antriebsköpfenzurückziehen.

10 Kompletten Antriebsstrang aus denLagerschalen entnehmen und aufeinen Montagetisch legen.

11 Sechskantwellenverbindungtrennen, Kupplungen aus denLagern des Getriebemotorsherausnehmen.

12 Flansch von Getriebe abnehmen (2Sechskantschrauben SW10)

7 Slacken the chain by moving thesliding pieces of the return unit onboth chain tensioners as far aspossible in the direction of the drive.Securely fasten by tightening thethreaded pins.

Warning:During repair procedures, it must beassured that the chain tensionerfastening cannot be undone or comeundone by itself!

Should the fastening inadvertently comeundone, the sliding piece of the chaintensioner will be catapulted backwardsby the spring tension!

Danger of injury and accident!

8 Open the chain by removing thewhite flat top and master link.

9 Pull chain back from the driveheads.

10 Remove the complete drive stringfrom the bearing shells and lay it onan assembly table.

11 Separate hexagonal shaftconnections and take out thecouplings from the gear motorbearings.

12 Remove the flange from the gear ( 2SW10 hex screws).

13 Loosen 4 M5x16 (SW8) hex screwswith A5.3-FST locking washers onthe gear flange.

14 Remove defective gear from themotor.

Install the gear motor in reversesequence!Fasten the BS 4/C-HQ 4 to the lift unit!

7 Détendre la chaîne, pour celapousser les pièces coulissantes desrenvois des deux tendeurs dechaîne aussi loin que possible endirection de l’entraînement et fixersûrement en vissant à fond les vissans tête !

Attention !Il doit être garanti que les fixations destendeurs de chaîne ne puissent pas êtredesserrées ou bien qu’elles ne puissentpas se desserrer d’elles-même pendantl’opération de réparation !

En cas de desserrage accidentel de lafixation, la pièce coulissante du tendeurde chaîne serait catapultée vers l’arrièreen raison du ressort tendu !

Risque de blessure et d’accident !

8 Ouvrir la chaîne, pour cela enlever laplateforme blanche et le maillonraccord.

9 Retirer la chaîne des têtesd’entraînement.

10 Enlever la barre d’entraînementcomplète des coquilles decoussinet et la mettre sur une tablede montage.

11 Détacher le raccord des arbreshexagonaux, retirer les coupleursdes paliers du motoréducteur.

12 Retirer la bride du réducteur (2 vis àtête hexagonale SW10)

13 Dévisser les quatre vis à têtehexagonale M5x16 (SW8) avec lesrondelles A5,3-FST de la bride duréducteur.

14 Enlever le réducteur défectueux dumoteur.

Monter le motoréducteur dans le sensinverse !Fixer la BS 4/C-HQ 4 sur l’unité de levée!

Note chain’s direction of movement “X” -opposite the main M.T.D. = Maintransport direction!

1 Advance each chain end from thechain tensioner at the feedbacklevel all the way to the drive head.Then guide them downwards.

2 Guide the chains upwards, lay themaround the drive wheels, and insertthe sliding pieces.

3 Bring the second chain end fromthe chain tensioner together withthe chain end from the drive unit inthe upper guide profile.

4 Close with the master link and clipon the white flat top.

5 Loosen the chain tension fastening,check the chain tension, and, ifnecessary, adjust.

6 Place upper and lower covers ontothe drive unit.

7 Place the cover plate on the chaintensioner.

Fasten the BS 4/C-HQ 4 on the lift unit!

Faire attention au sens de marche de lachaîne, « X », contraire à T.R. = Directionde transport principal !

1 Avancer l’extrémité de chaîne, àchaque fois en partant du tendeurde chaîne dans le niveau de retourjusqu’à la tête d’entraînement, fairesortir vers le bas.

2 Guider la chaîne vers le haut, mettresur les pignons d’entraînement,placer les pièces coulissantes.

3 Joindre la deuxième extrémité dechaîne depuis le tendeur de chaînedans le profilé de guidage supérieuravec celui sur l’unité d’entraînement.

4 Fermer avec le maillon raccord,clipser la plateforme blanche.

5 Desserrer la fixation du tendeur dechaîne, vérifier la tension de lachaîne, le cas échéant l’ajuster.

6 Mettre les caches supérieurs/inférieurs sur l’unité d’entraînement.

7 Mettre en place la tôle de protectionsur le tendeur de chaîne.

Fixer la BS 4/C-HQ 4 sur l’unité de levée !
