Eastside Baby Corner makes a positive difference in the lives of children and families in need. We do this by collecting and purchasing children’s items and distributing them, free of charge, through local social service agencies. We give families help and hope.

About UsEastside Baby Corner (EBC) was founded in 1990 by Karen Ridlon, a local pediatric nurse practitioner who was concerned with the large numbers of babies in her practice that began life without adequate food, clothing, beds or safety equipment.

Her commitment to giving these children a stronger start grew from an idea into an agency that annually distributes almost 60,000 new or gently-used items.

EBC serves a broad area in greater east King County. It is the only agency that provides these unique services in this region.

EBC receives financial support from many of the cities it serves, as well as from private foundations, individuals, businesses, faith-based organizations and civic groups.

Windermere Eastside gets the EBC Hub in tip-top shape

A letter from Emerson High School:

Your gifts of time and money at work - This touching letter from a client serves as a reminder of the important work that you are all doing by giving your time and money to Eastside Baby Corner.

As a helper of the helpers, we don’t always get to meet the families who receive our goods, but letters like this give us all the fuel we need to keep doing what we do. Together we are making a difference!

Together we can change lives!

On June 5th fifty-three agents from Windermere Eastside volunteered their time at Eastside Baby Corner for the company’s annual day of giving. Taking on projects like building shelves to help better

organize inventory, deep cleaning surfaces, replacing outdated labels and much more, the group helped get EBC ready for the summer season. Windermere is EBC’s longest-standing (and extremely generous)

corporate supporter. Both the company - through the Windermere Foundation - as well as individual agents, have provided EBC with continuing support through volunteerism and financial contributions. Thank you Windermere for helping kids thrive!

During the Windermere Community Service Day 53 agents from Windermere - Eastside volunteered at EBC. Completing tasks that helped EBC be organized for the upcoming summer season.
