ROADM (Reconfigurable Add- Drop Multiplexer)

ROADM permite la configuración add- drop dinámica de múltiples entradas ópticas en una red DWDM .

Dos tipos de ROADM (PLC y WSS).

WSS (Wavelenght Selective Switch) selecciona cada λ individualmente, por lo cual cada lambda puede ser conmutada a cualquier puerto.
