The CRIBUS 3800 redefines the term mobile drum screen. Numerous innovations create a machine with the highest level of functionality and cost-effectiveness and at the same time set new benchmarks. A screening area of 38 m2 makes the CRIBUS 3800 the largest mobile drum screen with central axle trailer. The underlying drum dimensions open up a broad range of applications and guarantee the best screening result in regard to performance and product quality. The drive system represents the foundation for the extremely high degree of cost-effectiveness - everything on the CRIBUS is driven electrically, from the hopper to the discharge belts. This minimizes the energy, wear and servicing costs of the whole machine, supported by the newly developed direct "WHEELGRIP" drum drive. The CRIBUS also offers compelling solutions in regard to servicing and operational safety. Large flaps and doors, simple exchange concepts for screen drum and conveyor belts and well-thought-out safety mechanisms are hallmarks of the machine design. A sturdy exterior shell, premium quality components on the inside, convenient operation combined with a high level of operational safety and numerous options make the CRIBUS a valuable tool for tough daily usage and one which contributes to the bottom line.

HigHligHtsThe biggest drum for the greatest performanceWith a drum diameter of 2200 mm and an effective screen length of 5500 mm, the CRIBUS has the largest screen area and hence also the greatest screening performance of its class. To accommodate this drum within the dimensions of a central axle trailer, the fine particle discharge belt (in transportation position next to the hopper) is moved to the working position (next to the screen drum) using the patented movement mechanism.

Broad range of applicationsSteep side walls and a wide hopper belt prevent the material bridging and open up the possibility of a broad spectrum of materials. The feed cross-section to the drum (the greatest in this class), the drum diameter itself and the unsurpassed gap to the side walls allow fractions with larger shapes and sizes and a smooth screening-off process – even with the 100 mm screen hole size.

Cost savings with electrical driveThe power for the electrical drives comes directly from the mains, is generated by an integrated diesel generator or is provided by a separate power generator. This results in markedly lower operating costs when compared to diesel-hydraulic drives.

Savings potential of mains operation/generator operation•upto75%/25%lowerpowerconsumption•upto30%/15%lowercostsforconsumableparts•upto25%/5%loweroperatingcosts

Efficient drum driveThe new drive via friction wheel, as an all-wheel drive with the patented "WHEELGRIP" technology, has the highest degree of efficiency and at the same time reduces to a minimum the costs attributable to wear and servicing since there are no chains, cogwheels or additional bearings.

Servicing is a joySimply fold down the side wall to access the drum. No tools are required for exchange. The drum is lifted up with support arms and then removed using lifting gear or fork arms. Large flaps provide excellent accessibility to the whole of the engine compartment. The generator unit can be retracted or set up externally. In the form of a corrugated edge conveyor, the cross/fine particle discharge belt forms one unit and hence prevents leaks in the transfer area.

High degree of operator convenienceThe machine is operated from outside the work area and has the highest level of operator convenience thanks to the fully-electronic controller. The graphical display shows the operating status and all of the functions are clearly visible and easily configurable. An automatic start-up and idling unit simplifies start of operation.
