HT Hobo Meals

What was tried? Hobo packs with contents galore. Guidelines were simple to stay within tradition = High on flavor, rich in technique & fast food with integrity! Submitted specialties included:

- Alpha Wolf Patrol/T876 created some yumminess over an open fire grill

- New Scout Patrol/T879 made use of a fire barrel ring - Caden/T840 created pots & pans out of foil and coffee cans,

additionally succeeded to have the widest range of corn cob offerings

- Joe/T840 stretched so far as to serve his family chicken caprese & chicken ranch

HT Hobo Extras! Hobo ‘Bang Out’ to T876 who pivoted the Hobo Challenge and included aspects in a virtual meeting. Scouts were asked to “Make a hobo – themed mask. In keeping with the times, make sure it covers at least your nose and mouth” Tin Cup shake-a-roux to Alpha Wolf Patrol who raised the bar to include a matching Bindle!

HT Hobo Wrap up Reports from the field include miraculous accounts of some Hobos opting to continue staying in their versions of boxcar habitats. The Accountable Actions recorded are truly amazing – from picking up every single gumball in a neighbor’s yard, cleaning out a pond, and keeping the scout spirit thriving by taking over 15 virtual merit badges without a complaint of being bored! It’s been a ‘candy job’ to see all the activity shared ~ looking forward to hearing how the units will fair with these inspiring Hobos in the ranks! Happy Trails & enjoy where ever the stars may pass over your ‘flop’!
