Organizational structure


MDI: Main features

4 year BSc degree, two diplomas on completion

The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) as asubdivision of the University of London (UoL) provides academicdirection of the programme

Taught in English starting from the very �rst year

The LSE part starts from year 2

12 LSE courses in 3 years, examinations are carried out at a certi�edcentre in Moscow, exam papers are marked by LSE professors

Seminars - held individually for each academic group

Guest lectures: September 2

The 2nd September 2019 is a special guest lecture day for 1st yearstudents

3 lectures will be held by company representatives from 10:30 to15:00, room 5214. More detailed information is available on theprogramme website (see top news)


HSE day: September 5

On September 5, 2019 Gorky Park will transform into a large HSEUniversity campus, open to all. HSE Day, �rst celebrated in 2012, hasalready become a tradition. Last year, more than 70,000 peopleattended the event. The celebration drew students new and old,faculty members, locals, and tourists

There will be no classes on this day!

University ethics

Be polite and respectful to your classmates and the University sta�

Do not talk too loud or shout in halls outside classrooms, especiallyduring class hours

Do not initiate handshakes to teachers or members of sta�, avoidunnecessary familiarity

Do not take audio and video recordings of classes, photos can betaken on agreement with the instructor

You can applaude after a lecture �nishes, but it is not a must.

Sort out in class as many issues as possible, don't rely on onlinemessaging services and e-mail to solve minor problems - instructorsalso have their private life and free time!
