ISM High School Parent Teacher Conferences 2010Dear Parents / Guardians,

It is with great pleasure (and a smidgen of trepidation!) that we announce a change in the way that you will make your reservations for theParent Teacher Conferences (PTCs) in the High School for October 18 th and 19 th . This year, we are going to attempt an onlineapproach to conference reservations to see the teachers of your child. Please note that this change to the reservation process is for HighSchool only the Middle School will continue to run their arena style conferences in the middle school gymnasium.

The new system will go live on September 27 th, at which time you will have access to the PTC Scheduler part of PowerSchool / PowerParent once logged in to PowerSchool you will see a new icon, named PTC Scheduler along the top menu bar at the right clicking this icon will send you directly to the PTC Scheduler. Pop-up-blockers will need to be turned off to allow access to the next page.

View Reservation PageOn this page you will be able to view your existing PTC reservations this should be blank when you first visit as you havent made anyreservations yet.

Add/Modify Reservation PageChoose a time using the drop-down menus to the right of the teacher and below the day that you would like your conference. Then clickthe Submit button.

The last step of the reservation process is to CONFIRM YOUR RESERVATION . You MUST click the Confirm button before yourreservation request is accepted by our system.

Once accepted, youll be taken back to the View Reservation Page where you will be able to see the confirmed reservations in orange.

Print ReservationClick the icon of the printer or click the Print Reservation link to pop-up a one page view of your reservations. This page will bereorganized in order of date and time to make it easier for you to navigate your way around the two PTC afternoons. Please print thispage and bring it with you to the conferences.

PSAT REGISTRATION:Please consider registering for the PSAT that will be held atISM on Saturday October 16 . This test is only offered once ayear! We STRONGLY recommend that all sophomores andjuniors take this exam as a way to begin preparation for theSAT.

Registering for the PSAT is simplego to the cashiers officeand pay USD 18. Be sure to pick up the PSAT review bookletalong with your receipt. The registration deadline is FridayOctober 8!
