Started with production, sales and maintenance oftelephones and switches. Modernized the production facilities with the
construction of the Mita Plant in 1901. It wascompleted in December 1902.
The Japanese Ministry of Communicationsadopted a new technology in 1903: the commonbattery switchboard supplied by NEC.
