It could also be phrased as, "What motivated you to apply for this job?"Keep in mind that you should try to construct an answer that will explain who you are and why you are there.Another good idea is to add a few words about the good/positive image of the company.

What is the difference between confidence and over confidence?Confidence is being comfortable in your own skin and expressing yourself without feeling insecure or nervous. It comes when one knows one's strengths as well as faults, and accepts them to improve oneself.

Overconfidence is when a person 'believes' that he/she is right every single time and that there's nothing the others 'need' do, but follow him/her happily.

If the interviewer says something like, "If you can do it, there are hundred others who can do it too. Why should we choose you and not them?"If you say because I can do it better than others, the interviewer might twist your reply to mean that you are over-confident.What to say in such situations? Maybe you can say "Because I'm special! You will find it during my work and never regret for your choice."

Shahith said : A person is confident when he know the fact better, a person is overconfident when he think that he know the facts better than others.

Are you willing to relocate? If you absolutely cant relocate, you have to be honest about that, but try not to just say No. You dont know what the future holds, and your life might look very different in a year for a thousand reasons.First find out where you may have to relocate and how much travel may be involved. Then respond to the question.

The first wayto handle this question is to keep your options open and your reservations to yourself in the early going, by saying, no problem. You strategy here is to get the best offer you can, then make a judgment whether its worth it to you to relocate or travel.

In second way- voice a reservation, but assert that youd be open to relocating (or traveling) for the right opportunity. The answering strategy you choose depends on how eager you are for the job. If you want to take no chances, choose the first approach. If you want to play a little harder-to-get in hopes of generating a more enticing offer, choose the second.

In all of these cases, these answers make you look more sincere than if you had given the standard answer about the right opportunity. They keep you from making a strong commitment while still making you appear flexiblewhich is always going to be a plus with your future employer.

What are your goals?

The employer wants to observe two important things:

1.What goals do you have in your career?2.How will the prospective job fit your plans?

So, you should present clear purpose, determination and commitment to own career goals by demonstrating how you plan ahead.Short term career objectives are quite simple, like getting a higher post in a few years or months, or learning a new skill so that you can become more productive for the company or even earning a certain amount per month by a particular time. These are the answers that you can provide when you are asked what your short term career aspirations are. In some cases, you can also speak about any dream company that you would like to work with as your short term career aspirations.

In long term career objectives, you can go a bit ambiguous and even out of the material world. For example, you can say that your long term career aspirations are to create a path that other people in the profession and line of work may follow. You may even speak about what are your career ambitions, like obtaining the highest post in a company in a while, etc.

So from this initial time I am not thinking about till how long I will associate with your organization rather than I am thinking to grow till the topmost level of this organization.

Where would you like to be in your career five years from now?Employers ask this question because they want to make sure you are goal-oriented and are thinking about the future. They also want to make sure the job you are interviewing for fits into this future plan. Why? Because if it doesnt, you may leave the company quickly to pursue a role that does. In general, employers prefer to hire candidates that have the intention of sticking around for a while.

Things to consider:Always looking to your future and showing ambition is a good thing.Align your goal with the company's goalsBe creative but realisticShow your passion toward the path ahead of you

Really think about what you want to get out of this job :First, assume the next 1-2 years are dedicated doing the job that youre interviewing for.Even if growth is important to you/organization that type of commitment is still expected. Then think of what youd want your next step to be from there.

Some companies have a clear structure for growth which you may be able to learn from your company research. If you can find that information, its great to have it up front and to use it in your answer.

Sir, I am a fresher and I am not qualified enough to rate you. But as it is a part of this interview, I would like to rate you 10 on 10. This is because throughout the interview, you made me feel so comfortable and confident that my hesitation is going as the time is passing.

I have to say you are a brilliant interviewer, sir. But I want to leave some room for improvement. There should always be room for improvement in anything you do. If you think that you are prefect in anything, then you lose the motivation to try harder to improve yourself.

How much salary do you expect?Remember these guidelines:

Never bring up salary. Let the interviewer do it first.

Make the interviewer want you first, and your bargaining position will be much stronger.

To know whats reasonable salary rate, research the job market and this position for any relevant salary information.

Never lie about what you currently make, but feel free to include the estimated cost of all your fringes

If your interviewer raises the salary question too early, before youve had a chance to create desire for your qualifications, postpone the question, saying something like, Money is important to me, but is not my main concern. Opportunity and growth are far more important. What Id rather do, if you dont mind, is explore if Im right for the position, and then talk about money. Would that be okay?

Or, I want an income commensurate with my ability and qualifications. I trust youll be fair with me. What does the position pay? Or, more simply, What does this position pay?
