ACT Background

• The Secretary of the Army and CSA established a Task Force to Review Education, Training and Assignments for Leaders (RETAL).

• The NCO Team conducted detailed reviews of RETAL requirements.

• The Secretary of the Army and CSA approved the RETAL action plans.

• HQDA and TRADOC consolidated initiatives from previous studies & reviews into one set of initiatives titled Army Leaders for the 21st Century (AL 21).

• HQDA G3 published the AL 21 Implementation Guidance.

USAR Survey Responses

• I believe that this is going to be a beneficial tool for all Soldiers and Leaders that will actually sit down and utilize it.

• This is a powerful and necessary tool for soldiers in the Army Reserve who did not have access to knowledge of an MOS and certifications they wish to pursue a career in, outside their own current MOS.

• ACT really shows me, the solider, that the Army is taking the careers of its soldiers seriously. Great program.

• WOW, for an AKO site this is easy. Got around wonderfully, learn huge amounts of things I need to get started on. Thank you!!! This is to easy to use.

• ACT looks like a interesting feature that will be supportive to soldiers if the information is up to date and soldier records are correct.

pending (Yellow), or past due (Red))

Click “Export Soldier Data” to view the metrics in an Excel spreadsheet.
