How to Work and Go to College With rising college costs and an increasingly competitive job market more and more people are going back to college to finish their degree or start the degree they wish they had. With this degree, the new job opportunities are sure to increase and with them the money they can earn. Here are some tips to ensure that you can work your way through college without hassle. 1. Schedule is Key Your work schedule will largely revolve around your college schedule. To make things as simple as possible, you should try to get a college class schedule that allows large gaps in your day where you can work. If possible, try to have complete days off. For example, many students go to school Monday, Wednesday and Friday and use Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday to work with Sunday as a rest day. Working 10 hours a day 3 days a week gives you 30 hours of work and that's more than enough to afford most colleges. Worst case scenario, you may have up to a $1000 loan each semester but that's not too bad. 2. Be Diligent With a rigorous schedule like this it may be tempting to increase the amount your personal loans in exchange for a break of work. However, this is weak thinking and should be thrown out whenever possible. Be diligent and work hard. The long term results will be well worth a bit of hard work now.

back to college to finish their degree or start the degree they wish they had. With this degree, the new

job opportunities are sure to increase and with them the money they can earn. Here are some tips to

ensure that you can work your way through college without hassle.

1. Schedule is Key Your work schedule will largely revolve

around your college schedule. To make

things as simple as possible, you should try

to get a college class schedule that allows

large gaps in your day where you can work.

If possible, try to have complete days off.

For example, many students go to school

Monday, Wednesday and Friday and use

Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday to work with

Sunday as a rest day. Working 10 hours a

day 3 days a week gives you 30 hours of

work and that's more than enough to afford

most colleges. Worst case scenario, you

may have up to a $1000 loan each semester

but that's not too bad.

2. Be Diligent With a rigorous schedule like this it may be

tempting to increase the amount your

personal loans in exchange for a break of

work. However, this is weak thinking and

should be thrown out whenever possible.

Be diligent and work hard. The long term

results will be well worth a bit of hard work

now.

3. Have Fun Yes, this may seem contradictory but the truth is working too much will burn you out and you'll find

yourself dropping out before you even graduate! The key to getting through class is to go out on the

weekends and party a bit! It's the college way and it will keep you away from ending up begging
