How to Use Smart Recorder For Tutoring and Remediation

The Smart Recorder will record what’s happening on your screen.

Step 1: Launch Smartboard Tools. It looks like a little blue

CD in the Taskbar.

Step 2: In the Smartboard Tools menu, click on Recorder.

Step 3:The Smart Recorder appears. Click the red Record button to start recording.

Step 6: Minimize Smart Recorder so it doesn’t appear in your video.

Step 7: Complete the task on your SMART board/computer you want to record. If you connect a microphone, you can also record your voice.

Step 8: When you’re done recording, maximize Smart Recorder from the Task Bar.

Step 9: Click the blue Stop button on Smart Recorder.

Step: 10 The Save As window will automatically open. Navigate to the folder where you want to save, name the file, and click Save.

Your video will be saved as a Windows Media file.
