How to Use a Keurig

What is a Keurig?

The Keurig coffee machine is a coffee maker that allows you to brew single cups of coffee at a time.

How does it work?

1. Plug in your Keurig

coffee maker.

2. Flip the Power switch on the back of the machine.

3. Remove the lid from

the water container.

4. Add water to

container.

5. Put the lid

back on.

6. Open the lid of the machine.

This is the coffee.

This is where you put the coffee.

7. Close the lid. 8. Choose the size of

the cup you want.

Lets make a HUGE cup!

9. Press the “Brew” button.

10.Watch the coffee brew.

Want iced coffee instead of hot coffee?

11. Get a BIG cup

that will not melt.

12. Fill cup about half way with ice.

13.Brew it!

No K-cup of your favorite coffee?! Use the “My K-Cup”.

14. Put the reusable

filter in the cup.

15. Add ground coffee.

16. Put lid back on.

18. Insert “My-K-Cup”17. Remove K-cup holder.

19. Close the lid and BREW!

Don’t forget to clean up!

20.Open the top, remove K-cup, throw it away.

22. Drink and enjoy!

Why is this useful?Not everyone likes coffee, wants coffee at the same

time, or likes the same kinds of coffee.

There is less waste because you do not have to brew a whole pot!
