Deactiv ate Windo ws 8/ 8.1 Driver Signat ure Enforcement. Refer to http://dottech.org/130197/how-to-bypass-digital-signed-driver-message-windows-8-8-1/ . Once rebooted, proceed to Step 3. If you are using Windows 7, set the UAC to "Never Notify", Refer to http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/disable-user-account-control-uac-the-easy- way-on-windows-vista/ . Once rebooted, proceed to Step 3. 3. Enable “Developer Options” in K910, i.e. Settings > About Phone > Version Information > tap 8 times the Internal version number > back to Settings > Developer options > enable USB debugging. 4. Do wnload the " LenovoUsbDriver_autorun_1.0.10.exe ". Download at : http://www.mediafire.com/download/7k4j77738ec4toh/LenovoUsbDriver_autorun_1.0.10.exe Note : This driver is also available in your phone. Look for "Lenovo_Suite" in Windows Explorer after conne cting K910 to PC via USB. 5. Install the "LenovoUsbDriver_autorun_1.0.10.exe " under "Administrator" privilege of Windows. 6. Download and in sta ll the Univ ers al Andro id USB Driver : http://koush.com/post/universal-adb-driver 7. Veri fy th at An dr oi d ADB Interface is liste d in Windows “Device Manager”. You should see : If you see “Lenovo ADB Composite ADB Interface ”, please uninstall it (just “right-click” > uninstall). Then, repeat Step 6.

How to Upgrade Lenovo K910 Dual-SIM AP/CHINA Set toKitKat with root and GAPPS (CH/EN Language) CWMMethod
Important Notice: Execute at your own risk. Read thoroughly this document and ensure you have downloaded ALL relevant files before
you start Step 1. This is not for Multilanguage ROM nor LTE-capable devices. Ignore the quotes notation in this document. All commands should be typed without quotes.
1. Backup all your stuffs (eg. contacts, gallery, bookmarks, saved games data, passwords, etc).Google on how to backup if your K910 is not rooted. Encourage to use Titanium Backup Pro viaupdate.zip feature. Alternatively, you may prefer Helium apps.
2. Deactivate Windows 8/8.1 Driver Signature Enforcement. Refer tohttp://dottech.org/130197/how-to-bypass-digital-signed-driver-message-windows-8-8-1/ . Oncerebooted, proceed to Step 3.If you are using Windows 7, set the UAC to "Never Notify", Refer tohttp://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/disable-user-account-control-uac-the-easy-way-on-windows-vista/ . 3. Enable Developer Options in K910, i.e. Settings > About Phone > Version Information > tap 8times the Internal version number > back to Settings > Developer options > enable USBdebugging.
4. Download the "LenovoUsbDriver_autorun_1.0.10.exe". Download at :http://www.mediafire.com/download/7k4j77738ec4toh/LenovoUsbDriver_autorun_1.0.10.exeNote : This driver is also available in your phone. Look for "Lenovo_Suite" in Windows Explorerafter connecting K910 to PC via USB.
5. Install the "LenovoUsbDriver_autorun_1.0.10.exe" under "Administrator" privilege of Windows.6. Download and install the Universal Android USB Driver :

7. Verify that Android ADB Interface is listed in Windows Device Manager. You should see :
If you see Lenovo ADB Composite ADB Interface, please uninstall it (just right-click > uninstall).Then, repeat Step 6.

If the Device Manager STILL does not recognised K910/Android Composite ADB Interface, justinstall this version of ADB Driver installer : http://adbdriver.com/downloads/ . Reboot PC, andverify in Device Manager again.However, if the Device Manager STILL does not recognise Android Composite ADB Interface,you may proceed with the Lenovo ADB Composite ADB Interface. But, if the following steps fail,you must leave that PC/laptop, and start from Step 2 at another different PC/laptop.
8. Download the K910 Dual-SIM Official Stock JellyBean 0109 VIBEUI 1.0 ROM from :http://pan.baidu.com/s/1ntx39pR , orhttp://yadi.sk/d/YzEBg2FfFo4qm, orhttps://drive.google.com/file/d/0B3-JqY8012pzYm1RcHE1SnBxdXc
9. In your PC/laptop, create a folder named sdfuse. Extract the 7Z zip file above into the sdfusefolder. There should be a filename K910_SS_S_2_040_0109_131226.QSB about 1.14GB filesize.
10. Using Windows Explorer, copy the sdfuse folder into VIBE Z\System Storage directory.11. Unplug K910 from PC. Turn off K910.12. Hold-down-dont-let-go the "VOL DOWN" button. Press "POWER ON" button until you feel a
vibration, let go "POWER ON" button. Once you see the Default Recovery (i.e. White and redtext), let go "VOL DOWN" button.
13. Navigate using VOLUME buttons to "4. SD Update" menu. Tap "Enter"14. The screen will show green and red text referring to K910_SS_S_2_040_0109_131226. Tap the
green text "START".Note : If you received error message file size error or similar, please CANCEL and reboot K910 asusual. You need to EITHER :OPTION 1 : Upgrade K910 to KitKat ROM via Over-The-Air (OTA) or via CWM Method. Then, repeatfrom step 2; OR(Recommended) OPTION 2 : Flash to Jelly Bean 4.2.2 1407_2_ST ROW ROMhttps://www.mediafire.com/?2cv8ovonsdbs56g . Instructions to flash is in the ReadMe.txt file.Then, repeat from step 2 again.After finish, tap "Reboot". The rebooting process takes about 5 minutes. Be patience. It is NOTbrick or hang.Note : If you received a screen with Chinese characters (blue color text), just hit the grey button toproceed.
15. No need to worry about Google account. Must enable Debug Mode, i.e. Step 3.16. Download ADB Fastboot : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=231779017. Install ADB Fastboot. Ensure you have Windows Administrator rights.18. Download CWM :

19. Extract CWM into "C:\Program Files (x86)\Minimal ADB and Fastboot". You may rename it to"recovery.img".
20. Download these files:20.1.VIBEUI_V1.5_1427_3_ST_K910_C316.zip (CH/EN) :

20.2.GAPPS : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2397942 . Suggest to useMini Modular Package. Rename to "gapps.zip".
20.3.SuperSU : http://download.chainfire.eu/supersu . Rename to "update.zip".21. Connect K910 to PC via USB. Ensure Debug Mode , i.e. Step 3.22. Copy file (20.1), (20.2) & (20.3) above into "C:\Program Files (x86)\Minimal ADB and Fastboot"
directory.23. From this directory: "Shift keyboard" + "Right-Click mouse" to run "Open command window
here".24. In Command prompt, type and ENTER:
24.1."adb devices". You should see K910 is detected. If not, repeat Step 2 all over again.24.2."adb reboot-bootloader". Your K910 screen shows "lenovo" image.24.3."fastboot boot recovery.img". K910 is now in CWM recovery.
25. Use K910 VOLUME buttons to navigate & POWER button to select. Goto "Install zip" > "Install zipfrom Sideload". K910 screen will say sideload is running with example of command.
26. In your PC/laptop Command Prompt, type and ENTER the followings:26.1."adb sideload rom.zip". Wait till it finishes 100%. Check success status at K910 screen.26.2.Re-do step 25.26.3."adb sideload gapps.zip". Wait till it finishes 100%. Check success status at K910 screen.26.4.Re-do step 25.26.5.adb sideload update.zip .Wait till it finishes 100%. Check success status at K910 screen.Note: If at any stage, after you run the ADB SIDELOAD command, the command prompt returns"error: device not found" or similar, you have to start all over again starting from Step 2 onwards.This error occurs due to driver incompatibility with Windows XP/7/8/8.1 . You need to uninstallexisting driver and re-install again. Or, you can try other PCs/Laptops that have never beeninstalled with Universal Android USB driver before.
27. Use K910 VOLUME buttons to navigate to "Go Back" > "Reboot system now".28. Select NO when prompt to fix the root. The rebooting process takes about 5 minutes. Be
patience. It is NOT brick or hang.PANIC MODE:I am still believing Android phone(s) cannot brick. If at any stage, K910 does not reboot properly, orhang, or freeze, just press-hold for 10 seconds the POWER button and repeat Step 11, 12, 13 & 14.At least K910 is not brick and you can still use the K910_SS_S_2_040_0109_131226 stock JellyBeanROM.All the best.!
