How to take the Certification Test after the GI-BMP Zoom Class

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Florida Department of Environmental Protection and the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer services have authorized “in-person” GI-BMP training to be given online, using Zoom. We are using the DVD Online Test features of the GI-BMP Training Site to allow participants to take the certification test online also.

Don’t be confused: even though it says DVD, it is being used for Zoom GI-BMP classes also.

There is a $15 fee to take the test. This must be paid online either with a credit card or by redeeming a coupon code from your employer. For more about buying coupons, see https://ffl.ifas.ufl.edu/gibmp-resources/online-class/How-to-buy-GI-BMP-coupons.pdf

At the end of the GI-BMP Zoom class, the instructor will give you a code to use as the “DVD serial number”. Follow the instructions below to use this code and purchase the test.

• Go to the GI-BMP training website: https://gibmp.ifas.ufl.edu

• Click GI-BMP User Login on the left sidebar. Log in with the username and password you created before class.

• Under My Training on the left sidebar, click DVD

• If you have not yet registered, you will see the Registration form. You do not need a DVD. You will use the code given by your class instructor as the serial number.

• Type the “serial number” that you were given in class into the box, select the language of your class, and click Submit.

• On the next page, under Affidavit of Completion, click the checkbox, then type your full name into the signature box and press enter. Click Submit.

• On the next page, scroll down to the section “Online test option - $15 fee”. Click Purchase Online Testing Option.

• On the Check Out screen, click the checkbox to accept the Student Policies.

To Pay with Coupon Code • If your employer gave you a pre-paid

coupon code, click I have a coupon for this course.

• Type or paste your coupon code into the box, then click Claim Coupon.

To Pay with Credit Card • Click Continue Checkout with Credit Card

• In the pop-up message, click OK to continue to the payment site.

• Follow the instructions to make your payment and return to the GI-BMP website.

• Your DVD training page should now show all the GI-BMP training modules and the test link. You do not need to view the modules online or take the quizzes, but you may do so if you want to review the material or practice for the test.

• When you are ready to take the test, click Take GI-BMP Certification Test online.

• Read and agree to the online testing rules (checkbox). Then click Start Test.

• The test consists of 40 multiple choice or True/False questions. For each question, click your answer choice, then click Next at the bottom right. You must answer each question before going to the next.

• You have one hour to complete the test. Your remaining time is displayed at the bottom. If you have time left at the end, you can use the Previous button to review and correct previous answers.

• After you finish the test, your test score is displayed. Your percent correct must be 75% or higher to receive a certificate. Click View Score to return to your Training screen.

• If you do not pass on the first attempt, you can retake the test one more time. Note: If you do not see the link to take the test displayed along with your first score, click DVD on the sidebar to refresh the screen.
