A Brief About Mozilla ThunderbirdThunderbird is a free desktop mail client provided by Mozilla which is generally used for emailing (POP & IMAP) purpose. Mozilla Thunderbird is available for Windows as well as MAC both users. It store all messages folder wise and create a separate MBOX file (with no extension). Default Location of Mozilla Thunderbird profile is:

C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Thunderbird\Profiles\.

A Brief About Microsoft OutlookOutlook is the most popular mail client provided by Microsoft for Windows as well MAC operating systems. MS Outlook generally pre-installed with MS Office suite either user can also get it from Microsoft Official website. The Outlook supports POP3 and IMAP free mail server and also provide a wide range of features for emailing purposes.

MS Outlook stores all mail components such as: emails, contacts, tasks and calendars etc. in an Outlook data file (.pst) which is generally located here:
