HOW TO

Seek  and  destroy!Look  through  your  files  and  delete  .tmp files,  cache  files,  file  fragments,  and  history  lists  that  may  have  

been  left  behind  by  your  browsers.  Also,  delete  any  programs  or  apps  you’re  not  using.

Sweep  away  junk.Computers  often  come  with  trialware and  demos.  Delete  these  and  other  little  apps  you  never  use  to  speed  

up  your  PC.

Delete  duplicate  files.This  is  time  consuming  but  worth  it.  Look  for  big  files  like  pictures  and  videos  to  clean  a  lot  of  space  quickly.

Defragment  your  hard  drive.Since  Windows  stores  files  in  pieces  those  pieces  get  put  in  different  places  of  the  hard  disk  as  you  open  and  save  them  which  leads  to  fragmentation.  To  defragment  check  out  your  Windows  Utilities  menu.

Give  your  PC  a  boost.Many  programs  are  set  to  run  automatically  when  you  boot  up  your  PC.  To  clean  this  up  check  the  settings  

on  your  programs  and  applications  to  make  sure  they  aren’t  automatically  running.
