YOUR RESUME

• Typically, your resume looks like the skeleton below

GOALS

• Create your Resume in MS Word

• Convert your Resume into a “Website” or Web-based resume

• Create “Call-to-Action” tabs on your resume.

• Optimize your New “Web-based resume” for Search-engine visibility

• Monitor search optimization by the use of analytics tools.

• Re-Optimize for maximum results

• Do not forget to “link” with other Professional sites like Linkedin.com, Glassdoor, etc.

YOUR RESUME IN MS WORD

STEP1 - ANALYSISWebsite

STEP2 – CHOOSE PREFERRED “CMS” PLATFORM

• Choose your preferred “CMS” platform such as Drupal,Joomla, Wordpress,

Blogger, etc.

• Decide whether you like to register a domain name. e.g. emeka-

onuzuruike.com.ng

• Update your new “website” based on :

• Website Header

• Website Body

• Website Footer

• Do not forget to embed visible “Call-to-Action” so that your marketing “goal”

is effective.

STEP3 – DO THE “KEYWORD” THING KNOWN AS “SEO”

• You can hire a very good and sound SEO expert like me, to do this for you.

• You can do this by yourself if you already know how it is done

• Keep the following in mind when doing your “SEO” tricks:

• Proper industry analysis must be done – Who are your competition

• Decide in what “niche” or “segment” you like to show up in Search results

• Ensure your “website” works well, not leading to “404 Errors” or the like

• Ensure your website is easy to “navigate”

STEP4 – NOW YOU NEED TO “MONTOR” WEB SEARCH

PERFORMANCE

• You also need an expert “SEO”webmaster to help you with “monitoring”

• You can do this by yourself if you already know how it is done.

• Keep the following in mind when “ANALYZING” your “website” performance:

• Number of “Clicks” – this indicator should be growing

• “Bounce rate” – this indicator should be “declining”

• “Average session duration” - this indicator should be “growing”

• “Goal conversion rate” – this indicator should be “growing”
