First click Create An Account

Go to Google home page and click sign in and it will bring you to this page.

Put your first name and last

Make a email address

Put you date of birth (do not lie)

State of you are female or male

Enter you mobile phone number

Enter another email address if you own an email address already

Type out what this says

Change this to the country you are living in.

Make sure you have read the terms and conditions. And make sure you chick the box.

Click the next button.

You will receive a text message and in the text message you will be giving a verification code. Put the code in the box.

After you have done that click the continue button.

Click the continue to Gmail button

How to add contacts to a list - technical

Click on the Gmail button and then click on contacts.

Then click on the New Group icon.

Enter the new group name. then click on Ok.

This is the Ok button you need to click on.

Click on my contacts and this will show you all of your contacts.

How to send an email.• In the ‘To’ field you enter the email address you are sending it to. • In the ‘CC’ field you can send copies of your email to other people.

This means carbon copy and the person you send the e-mail is aware that you are sending the e-mail to them.

• In the ‘BCC’ field stands for blind carbon copy. Using Bcc you can send a blind copy of the email to someone with out the receiver knowing it.

• In the ‘Subject’ field you say what the email is about. • In the body of the email you write what you want to say to them. • After all the above you click the send button and when the email

has been successfully send a confirmation message will be displayed on the screen.

To compose an email you will need to press the compose button. Under the Google button.

To read an e-mail you need to make sure that you are in your inbox and click on the e-mail you want to read.

How to stay safe online.

• When you set up you email make sure that your password isn’t to easy for people to guess for example mix capitals, numbers, special characters. Make sure you only give your close friends, family people you trust with your email address. Make sure you don’t put it on any social networking site E.G Facebook and Twitter. Also make sure sign out of your email account if you are on a shared computer.
