Transcript of How to Register for STEM Village
For first time users
To register as a
parent
Your email address must be valid and will become
your username
Remember to read and
agree to the Terms of Service
This is where you add your child’s basic
information. You can
always add more children
later.
Your child’s teacher has a
5-digit ID number that the teacher should have emailed to
you. You can always link to one or more
teachers later.
Once you have setup your child’s
account, you will need to activate the
account through an email link,
shown below
The email activation link allows you to
setup an initial
password for your child.
They can always change
it later.
Once the student’s account is
validated, it is now in “student mode”.
Your child can begin working from
here, or you can sign out and sign
back in as a parent later.
You can sign into either the
student or parent
account here
You can always add
more children to your
account in your
dashboard here
Once you click on one of the students
from your dashboard, you can see their progress,
link to their teachers accounts and set custom rewards
from here
You can link one or more teachers
to your child’s account with a 5-digit code given to you from the teacher(s). This
allows any custom
curriculum sequence to be
included and allows the teacher to monitor progress.
You can see the linked
teachers here and can
remove at any time
And add additional
teachers here
This is where you can set up to 3 different milestone reward levels to
keep your child motivated to progress. Once the milestones are
reached, you will receive email notification and can set new levels.
As the student progresses,
you can monitor the
skills completed, points total, and rewards earned here
You can see the current unit the student is working on in
each STEM area here and drill down further in each
You will receive an email notification like this when your child
achieves one or more reward levels. You
can click on the link to adjust the levels as
your child progresses.
Checkmarks indicate which units have been completed by the student. For further detail, simply click on the
unit card.
Within a unit, a checkmark indicates the individual skills
that have been mastered by the
student
