Post a Craigslist Ad

1. Go to Craigslist.com

Click “Post to Classifieds”

Click “for sale” on the classified page.

Click “business/commercial”

Add a posting title and location.

Copy and paste HTML code into box.

Add your email address, then click “Continue.”

View your posting.

Scroll to the bottom and click “Continue”.

Agree to the Terms of Use

At this point… One of two things will happen…

Captcha, to make sure you are a real person… Fill in the box and click Continue

Or Authorization, sent via Call or Test message to your phone

Posting complete• After typing in the Captcha, the screen will say your post

will be live in about 15 minutes.

• If you have to authorize by phone, click “Get the Code” and it will give you instructions on how to post.

• These are Craigslist security measures to keep people from scamming. After posting, you will get a confirmation email to the email account provided, saying it has been posted.

How to change wording in your HTML code….

What NOT to do. • Don’t add your email address anywhere in the HTML

copy.

• Don’t erase or write more “jibberish” in the code.
