About My Business

In my website I teach girls how to do different hairstyles

with just simple steps. My website includes steps on how

to do: Fishtail Braids, Grecian Updo, and easy curls. It is

a great website for girls who want to do hairstyles in a

short amount of time. This website it helpful in case you

will need a nice new hairdo for any occasion you may

have. This will be a convenient and easy website to go to.

You will find out how to do many hairstyles and you will

not have to pay tons of money to be able to have nice

hair.

What You May Need

When doing the hairstyles I teach in my website you will

need the following things: hairspray, headbands, rubber

bands, comb, hairbrush, bobby pins, straightener, and a

curling iron.

How To: Hair bow

Step-By-Step1. Take one small section of hair from each side of your

head. The bigger the sections, the bigger the bow.

2. Tie the two sections together with an elastic to create a half ponytail.  Don't pull the ends through the elastic. The last time you wrap it to create a loop.

3. Split the loop in half to create two smaller loops and clip one loop aside for later.

4. Use your fingers to spread out the loop and push it flat against your head into a bow shape.  Insert one bobby pin going from top to bottom and one going from bottom to top. 

5. Repeat on the other side.

6. Pick up the remaining ends of the ponytail and wrap them up and around the elastic to hide it.  Secure it with bobby pins

How To: Grecian Updo

Step-By-Step

1. To do a Grecian up do you will need:(1) Hairspray (2) Headbands

2. Your hair will have to be straighten(1) At least a day old (2) Not washed for a day

3. Next you will get a headband and put in on your head (1) To create volume

(a) Do not put it all the way to forehead

4. Once you have the headband on you will take sections of the hair and wrapping them around the head band (1) Like weaving through

5. Keep wrapping both sides6. In the end you will have to get the last strands and

put them inside the headband.

How To: Fishtail Braid

Step-By-Step

1. Divide your hair into two large sections, parting straight down the middle. 

2. Pull a thin strand of hair from the outside of the left section.

3. Pull it over the top of the left section, and grasp it under the right section.

a. In other words, the strand of hair has gone over the left section and finishes under the right section.

4. Repeat on the right side.

5. Pull a skinny strand of hair from the outside of the right section.

6. Then pull it over the right section, then weave it under the left section.

7. Keep changing sides weaving over and under each side until you reach the bottom.

8. Then you will tie the end of the braid with a rubber band.

How To: Twisted Updo

Step-By-Step

1. Begin by parting the hair slightly to one side of middle.

2. Now, divide hair straight down from that part to behind each ear

1. securing the rest of hair in the back out of the way

3. Next, using a 1-inch curling iron, begin to curl the hair

1. using small sections curl the hair going toward the face

4. After you curl each section, pin it using a bobby pin or alligator clip so that the curl doesn’t fall as the hair cools.  

1. Continue to curl all front sections towards face and pin.

5. While the curls set, gather the rest in the back hair into a low ponytail,

1. slightly off to one side of head

6. Twist the hair and wrap it around the ponytail, to create a nice low bun

1. using bobby pins, pin it against head

7. Now let the curls down from one side of head 1. using a boar-bristle brush, very gently comb the

curls together to create more of a wave than separated curls

8. Pull the curls toward the bun, wrap them around it, and pin them in place

1. you want the curls to be soft and loose near the face

9. Repeat Steps #7-8 on the other side of the head.

How To: Lay Low Braided Bun

Step-By-Step

1. Begin with a deep side part and brush all the hair to that same side.

2.Draw a line straight down from the part to the nape of the neck.

3. Twist the back portion downwards.

4. Wrap the twist into a bun and secure with a hair pin.

5. Braid the leftover section down to the ends and secure with an elastic band.

6. Wrap the braid around the bun.

7. Secure the braid around the bun with hair pins. Done

How To: Dutch Braided Spiral 

Step-By-Step

1. Divide the hair at the front of your head into three

sections. Make sure to use medium-size sections when

braiding.

2. Start Dutch Braid by taking the section of hair on

the right and putting it under the middle section.

3. Then take the section on the left and cross it

underneath the section in the middle.

4. As you continue braiding towards the back of your

head, make sure to add new sections of hair to both your

left and right strands.

5. After all hair has been incorporated into the

Dutch braid and you have braid all the way down to the

ends of your hair, secure the braid with an elastic.

4. Tug lightly on each part of the braid to make it

appear wider and more flared out.

5. Take your braid and form a spiral at the back of

your head.

6. Tuck the unbraided ends of your braid into the

spiral.

7. Secure the spiral with bobby pins.

How To: Twist Ponytail

Step-By-Step

1. Clip away two sections of hair either side of your face.

2. Put the rest of your hair in a ponytail and secure with an elastic.

3. Separate the side section into three equal parts.

4. Starting with the lowest section, twist the hair up and wrap it around your ponytail.

5. Secure the end with a bobby pin.

6. Repeat on the other side and continue twisting and pinning each section around your ponytail.

7. In order to keep the ends in place you have to tease the end of each section and put the bobby pin on the end of the section of hair.

8. Then wrap in around and pin it in place. Putting the pin on the end of your hair first makes it so much easier to do.

How To: Messy Knot Bun

Step-By-Step

1. Put your hair up in a high ponytail, and secure it

tightly using an elastic hair band. Make sure the back

side of your hair is smooth, and that it's all brushed

upwards.

2. Using a comb, start backcombing the ponytail you

just made.

3. Twist your fluffed up hair into a loose circular

shape around the base of the ponytail.

4. Secure the messy top knot bun you've just created

by using four to five bobby pins, and try to insert them

subtly in between your hair.

5. If you ended up with a tight top knot bun after

you've added the bobby pins, use your fingers to slightly

loosen up your hair until you reach your desired texture.

6. To finish off, add some hairspray to pat down

flyway hairs.

How To: Curly Side Waterfall Braid

Step-By-Step

1. Begin by curling all of your hair loosely with a flat

iron.

2. Then backcomb all of your roots to add body and

extra grip for the bobby pins.

3. Section out the hair on the heavy side from your

ear forward and clip it aside for later.

4. Take the rest and put it in a low side ponytail.

Only pull the hair halfway through the pony the

last time to create a loop.

5. Use your fingers to

scrunch up and spread out

the curls around the loop,

bobby pinning the hair in

place to create a messy bun.

6. Let down the remaining

hair and do a loose waterfall

braid, drape the end of the

braid across the top of the

messy bun and secure it with

bobby pins and finish with

hairspray.

How To: Double Knotted Ponytail

Step-By-Step

1. Gather your hair into a low ponytail and split it into two equal sections.

2. Tie a knot in your hair.

3. Loop the right section around the left and pull the end up through. Pull the knot tight against your head.

4. Repeat, tying a second knot in your hair exactly like the first. Make sure the second knot is tight against the first knot.

5. Secure the knots together.

6. Hold both sections of your hair together under the knots and secure them with a small clear hair elastic. Ensure the elastic is tight against the knots.

7. Stretch out the knots to emphasize the shape (and better cover the elastic) and you’re done!

How To: Faux Bob

Step-By-Step

1. Take a section from ear to ear and clip the top section away.

2. Plait or braid the bottom section, whichever is easier for you to do.

3. Fold the plait around and pin in place flat against your head.

4. Backcomb the top section to create some volume and shape so your hair hides the braid.

5. Comb or brush the top of your hair to smooth it.

6. Use an elastic to secure all your hair into a low ponytail. Make sure the hair on the sides is long enough to cover your ears.

1. Keep this loose as this forms the side of your bob.

7. Pin the ponytail in place underneath. - 16

1. Put a bobby pin through the elastic and pin to the braid.

8. Add hairspray to smooth your hair.

Do It Yourself Curls

Different Techniques

Fist Method: Braids

Braids are an easy and quick way to create curls

without heat. You start off with clean damp hair. Section

the hair off and make individual braids all over the head.

Smaller braids will create many tight curls and fewer

braids will create big loose curls. Sleep in the braids

overnight while they dry. Then undo them in the morning

Second Method: Buns

Buns make loose curls. Just twist your hair up at night before bed to have waves in the morning.

Third Method: Rag Curls

Cut strips from an old shirt or towel. Section the

hair out and slowly start at the ends rolling the hair up

around the rag to the head. Secure the curl by knotting

the rag.

Fourth Method: Pin Curls

To create a pin curl you section off the hair and roll

the hair up to the head as if you had a roller and then

secure with a bobby pin. You can either keep the curls

big or lay them flat against the head.

Fifth Method: Pipe Cleaner

You wrap the hair around the pipe cleaner and

secure.

How To: Pretzel Braid

Step-By-Step

1. Take two 1-inch sections of hair from right behind each of your temples.

2. Loop the left strand (1) and hold with your first two fingers and thumb.

3. Pull the other strand (2) over top of where the loop crosses.

4. Reaching between the two sections of hair, loop strand 2 up and under strand 1, to the left of where strand 1's loop crosses.

5. Now comes the tricky part! You want to weave the end of strand 1 around the strand 2 loop and the front

part of strand 1. Start by crossing over the top half of loop 1.

6. Cross the end of strand 2 under the other half of itself (2a).

7. Pull strand 2 over the bottom part of loop 1.

8. To finish the knot, gently tug at booth loose ends until it tightens.
