QUALITIES APPROACH- Focuses on what a leader has to be.- The art of influencing a body of people to follow a

certain course of action; the art of controlling them, directing them and getting the best out of them.

- Insists leaders are born with certain qualities and not made.

- Distinguishing quality of a leader- confidence.- Major part of leadership is Man-management.- Various other qualities possessed by a person to

be a leader.

the man or woman who knows what to do and how to do it.

- A leader needs true knowledge of human nature.- Must have the ability to give people intellectual and

moral strength.- Your position never gives you the right to command .

It only imposes on you the duty of so living your life that others may receive your orders without being humiliated
