Fill out the real estate salesperson application.
Upon successful completion of the state exam, you need to fill out the online application and pay the required fee to get your license. You can find the application here or use here to complete the application online.

6 Receive your license.
Once the application is approved, a license and pocket card will be issued identifying you as a New York state licensed real estate salesperson. The license is valid for two years.
