How to find a book from the library website

The Library webpage (http://www.lamarpa.edu/library) can be found under Quick Links on the LSCPA homepage.

On the main page of the library, Books/Catalog will guide the user to the Library Catalog page.

On the catalog homepage, the user types in search terms and use drop down menus to choose author, title or subject, etc., based on his/her needs.

The search results will present a list of items for browsing related to the search. The user can click on the one s/he wants to see.

Each record contains basic bibliographic information, such as title (highlighted in blue), author’s name, and call number. Please note: author names are listed last name first, and Availability lets the user know whether or not an item is on the shelf. To begin a new search, the user must click on the black Start button near the top.
