How to extract NCSX PDF files from Intralink

3 The first time user you need to create a Workspace on your local computer to store the extracted files.

As a first time user you need to create a Workspace on your local computer to store the extracted files. Pull down the Workspace pop up and select New.

A new pop up will open. Enter the name of the Workspace, such as pdf. Then hit OK.

Open the Intralink pop up and select Commonspace.

Commonspace Browser will open.

All core drawings are stored under one folder (as highlighted).

Place icon over the item to be checked out and click the right mouse button. While the item is highlighted click the left button and the dialog box shown to the left will pop up.

Left mouse click on highlighted workspace. A Checkout Complete pop up will open and then select OK.

The extracted object will be sent from Commonspace to the workspace on you local computer.

The designated Workspace (located on your computer) is opened.

Place the icon over the object and left click on it to highlight it. While its highlighted hit the right mouse button to open up a dialog box. Click Open to open the PDF file.

IF THE PDF FILE DOES NOT OPEN, YOU WILL NEED TO EXPORT IT TO ANOTHER FOLDER ON YOUR COPUTER. SEE NEXT SLIDE.

If you can not open the file using the Open command you will need to export is to Disk.

An Export to Disk pop up window comes up allowing you to direct the file.
