For most of us, to choose a commodity, we got 2 standers in our mind usually. They are prices and

quality alternative.

It’s the same when choosing a LED Modules for sign lighting. So how to define if it’s a good Module

led lighting?

Here we ignore the method of pricing standard as every of us know how it works and most of us like

this way.

While if you choose the products by judging the quality, we may have many points to share below.

Take our Lighting LED Modules for example; we need pay more attention on below points:

1, The cable used for LED Module Lighting

For many led module factory in china, they use 20#

or 22# cable for the modules. Yes, it’s true that

these won’t affect a lot for the prices. Someone said

this is not our sales point. However, they didn’t dig

the real reason why we Eight Lx LED use 18# in

between cable.

The truth is long wire or small wire many leads to

great voltage drop, voltage drop makes the lights

darker. Use same power consumption but less

luminous flux.

2, The injection plastic (ABS or PVC)

Good injection plastic prevent oxidation reaction which makes the body be yellow, good injection

plastic also prevent fire

3, The Aluminum PCB Board

As everyone in LED Lighting field know the heat sink is

essential for a LED Product. Better heat sink can make

longer lifespan and low lighting decay. Heat may also

lead to other danger like fire.

All the lighting led modules in 8lx are with 5mm

Aluminum PCB for better heat sink while it’s usually

3mm or RF4 board in the market.

We are not intent to increase our cost but we are making

better and safe products with more value

4, The LEDs for a module LED Light

Nearly all the LED bulb even original CREE, Samsung and

Epistar got different grades. Different grade make different

brightness and CRI (color rendering index).

Of course different prices maybe.

However, we always choose the first grade to make sure

brightness and CRI. All the original leds can be traced back

to distributor and factory. Do the best or never do it.

5, The Lens for the led modules

The secondary light distribution is one of the key

technologies for LED Lighting application.

For led module lighting, optical lens are used for a

wide beam angle or a certain degree beam angle

for different application.

It’s common that 160 degree for a backing lighting

module lighting led, and 15degree, 38degree,

45*15degree or so for sided lighting like double sided lighting box.

As a matter of fact, adding lens affect less on the prices in long term view. Because, for a same

lighting project, we use less quantity led modules with lens than modules without lens duo to beam

angle.

Correct beam angle also make the lighting uniformity better, no spot light or dark points.

6, The circuit design

For stable function and long running time of led lights module,

we use constant current circuit to protect the product failure

before 3000hours or less. Here we don’t extend the advance

of a long life span sign module led besides reducing

maintains cost, shipping cost saving and so forth.
