● Forums● Social media● Surveys

Brainstorm ideas to help your target audience.
How can YOU or your products solve their problems?
What can you provide as a partial solution?
Generate leads by offering a partial solution for the problem in the form of:
● An ebook or report● Free consultation● A video series● A checklist or spreadsheet
This will be your lead magnet.
What does a funnel look like?

- Ebooks or reports- Infographics- Videos- Training courses- Tutorials- Quick start guides
Remember, your lead magnet should at least partially solve your audience’s pain point.
Sample steps:1. Decide on a topic for a report.2. Hire a writer on Fiverr.3. Hire a designer to create a pretty PDF version of your
report.4. Upload finished product to Dropbox or Google Drive
and get a shareable link.
Ready to Create Your Lead Magnet?
Email Marketing
Once you have your lead magnet, it’s time to step up the email marketing. You need:
7-15 emails, sent over a period of 14-30 days
The first TWO emails deliver the lead magnets. The rest of the emails have one of two purposes:
Get people to engage OR get them to see a presentation.

Elements of a Thank You Page
1. A brief thank you note.
2. Reminder of how they signed up.
3. Link to the lead magnet download.
4. Optional: Links to additional freebies or posts that readers may enjoy.
What is a Landing Page?
Your landing page is a focused page with a single purpose . . . to capture leads.
You’ll need 4 strong elements:
● Headline● Subheadline● Call to Action● Destination URL (thank you page)
Headline & Subheadline
Use an eye catching headline in an easy-to-read font. This should provide your reader with the immediate benefits of signing up, such as a free report or tutorial.
Your subheadline can explain more about what is on offer.
Keep it simple! You want people to sign up for more information, so don’t give it all away.
Call to Action
Tell people what to do. This is your call to action. Examples: ● Sign up today!● Get your free template now!● Click here● Fill out the form to get your free tutorial.● Get started now● Grab your free report!● Get it now!
After they complete the action, redirect the user to your thank you
page or destination URL.
What’s an AutoResponder?
An autoresponder automatically sends pre-written emails for you. You need 7-15 emails set up ahead of time.
Emails 1 & 2: Provide sign up confirmation and a link to the lead magnet. Welcome the reader to your list.
Emails 3-7: Give useful information and invite readers to take action. Ask questions. Invite them to write you or to attend a presentation.
Once the initial emails are sent, you can follow up with the occasional reminder and up-to-date, manual note.
