What is an email signature

▪ An email signature is a bit of personalized text (such as your contact

information or a favorite quote) that is automatically inserted at the

bottom of every message you send on the selection. Here's a sample

signature:

Step 1:▪ Log in to your site admin panel with your login id and password

▪ Under the ‘Manage’ tab select ‘Notifications’

▪ Once you have selected ‘Notification’ you will be directed to the trigger

listing page

▪ Select the ‘Notification settings’ button on the top right of the page

Step 3:

▪ Now you are on the ‘Notification settings page’

▪ Here click on the ‘Signatures’ link

Step 4:

▪ You will see ‘Create a new custom signature box’ on notification settings page

▪ In this box, type the content for the signature that you want to add

▪ Name your signature. So its easy to find

▪ Click ‘Create’ to add your new signature, which can be used in your email

notification triggers

▪ Tip: If you want to set this footer as your default, check the ‘set footer as default’ button otherwise uncheck it

Step 5:

▪ The updated signature will now reflect on the notification setting page

Tip: You can set any signature as your default signature by clicking on ‘Make it default signature’

How to edit email signatures

Step 1:

▪ From the existing list of your custom signatures choose the signature that you

want to edit

▪ For example you want to edit signature 3, then click on the respective ‘Edit’ link

to make changes according to your requirements

Note: You cannot delete or edit the default signature set for site owners

Step 2:

▪ You will see an ‘Edit your signature’ pop up

▪ Make the changes accordingly and click on ‘Update’ button to successfully

save your changes

Good to know

▪ A user cannot delete a custom email signature which is set as the default

signature

▪ In order to delete a default email signature you have to set another email

signature as the default email signature
