Distributors absolutely hate to be rejected. When they are rejected, theybegin to believe that the business “doesn’t work”. Ice breakers should be100 percent rejection-free. If there is any chance for rejection, distributorswill be afraid to use them. Sometimes having cold market prospectingscripts could help as well.

Rule #3

Nobody really likes to “sell” things or be sold. Sales can been seen as highpressured by the distributor. If the distributor feels pressured to share theiropportunity, the prospect my feel pressured to join. Ice breakers shouldnever be high pressured or embarrass anyone.

Small success is a great way to increase your retention. Most times when you hear the phrase “would it be okay if…” most times theanswer would be YES. This is something my children (and most children)learn how to do. They ask questions they know 99% of time they’ll get a yes.
