• Amazon patented a ‘warehouse in the

sky’ – essentially flying storage units.

• Delivery from these units would be

undertaken by drones.

• Potentially liberating operators from being

located at specific areas and land

availability … but different solutions like

creating flexible distribution units on the

ground (i.e. mobile containers) should be

a quicker and easier solution
