Indonesia has abundant natural resources, unfortunately these resources havent been maximized as it should be. There are a lot of natural resources sectors in Indonesia few of them are marine, mining, and agriculture.

Two-third of Indonesian territory consists of sea, 58 million km2 to be exact. Not only fish that varies in Indonesian ocean but also our coral reefs is the most varied in the world. Unfortunately these resources are not yet fully used. Our fishermans skills and tools are still inferior to other countries that illegally fishing in our territory.

Indonesia stands in the sixth position for the biggest mining sector in the world. Our mining divided into several other sectors, which are gold, coal, oil, gas, nickel, tin, copper, and etc. Although mining have brought a great national income to Indonesias GDP, it would be better if we dont export raw materials, and it will result higher income.

A lot of Indonesian residents work in agriculture. Our soil is so fertile that makes almost any plant will grow in Indonesia. Unfortunately our agriculture is still beaten by Japans agriculture that doesnt have as much space as we have. It turns out that Japan rely on their technology in their agriculture sector.

With unlimited resources that we have, Indonesia should be a wealth country. If we can update our technology and export not only raw materials but also more finished goods it would bring a huge impact in addition to out national income.
