Tagline-is normal shown at the top of the magazine normally telling the audience about free things inside of the magazine. In this case the tagline is ‘Britain's No1 women’s magazine’ connoting that the magazine is for most social backgrounds.

Cover model- The model is a will known person who females look up to. She is making direct address which makes her more approachable.

Anchorage-The Anchorage text relates to the main image. The Anchorage text of this magazine links to Cheryl holding a camera, 'Cheryl snaps back, “I’m not unlucky in love. I’m absolutely not a victim”.Cover lines-they are pieces of

information which will be in more detail inside of the magazine. Cover lines are on the cover to entice the target audience.

Direct address-she is smiling connoting a friendly and welcoming feel she also is looking straight at the viewer which is direct address this also connotes a friendly, welcoming feel enticing the reader in.

puff-tells the reader about one of the headlines is about. The puff connotes that there are a lot of useful ideas inside. The puff doesn’t exactly tell us what these ideas this draws the reader in making them curious about the contents inside.

masthead-. The name of a magazine is important as it allows the audience to identify the Magazine which makes the magazine stand out differently to other magazines. The name of the Magazine is important but not as much as the main image connoting that they main selling point of this magazine is the main image; Cheryl cole.

Colours used: white, black and pink-rich pink connotes that this is a feminine. The white connotes purity and truth in that is said also connoting that the information can be trusted and is true.
