Transcript of how global warming changed the world we live in
Can you tell
the DIFFERENCE?
Over the past 100 years, the global average temperature has increased
by approximately 0.6 °C
Continue To Rise at a rapid rate
people were always talking about the
weather, but in the 1930s, there was an
unusual turn that old folks began to insist
the weather has changed, meanwhile popular
press began to run articles that claimed
winters really had gotten milder, and
Meteorologists confirmed that a warming
trend was under way.
“ Gaffers who claim that winters were
harder when they were boys are quite
right… weather men have no doubt that
the world at least for the time being is
growing warmer.”
How Global Warming Changes
The World We live In
• The causes of global warming
• How it affects both human & animals
• How we can make a difference
How it effects both
human and animals
Imagine global warming finally takes over our life…
How the coastal area changed in the past decades…
Severe deforestation…
Inundation…
Unexpected heavy snow…
Extreme drought…
Though there’re still many
other events not mentioned,
the fact is that,
human beings are not the only
species threatened by climate
change.
How can we make a difference…
This Earth Hour event has attracted
hundreds of millions of people
turning off their lights for one hour
on the same night across the
planet
This is the
difference
