OBJECTIVE OF PRESENTATION

This presentation will show that animals

have adaptations that help them survive

in their environment like camouflage,

teeth, legs, fins, etc.

Some animal body parts help animals live in their habitats.

Thick fur of mountaingoats helps keep them warm.

A hermit crab has antennae that help it feel, smell, and taste.

The clownfish uses fins

to swim quickly.

Birds use wings and feathers to fly.

CAMOUFLAGE

Camel’s hump has fat.The fat helps it livewithout food and waterfor a long time.

Giraffes have long necks to reach the leaves high in the

trees.

Camouflage is a color or shape.Camouflage makes an animal or plant hard to see.

Camouflage helps protect animals.

HYPOTHESIS

WHAT CAN HELP ANIMALS PROTECT?

Our hypothesis is that animals can survive in different environments.

PROCEDURE

We investigated on how animals and plants can be associated with their environment by an examination of their structural characteristics.

RESULTS

All animals have different ways of warning that danger is near.

CONCLUSIONS

Animals have parts that help them live in

different environments. They can change their color or shape

to protect themselves from other

animals. This is called camouflage.
